Horse Experience

For fun for the entire family, check out our morning at the barn experience. Guests will get a chance to accompany Belle (the horse girl) and see this first hand as we get the day started at the farm. We will start by meeting each animal up close and personal and learning each of their stories. From there, you will get to feed the animals and learn about everyone's different feeding plans. We will get to brush and pick out the horses' hooves and feed them treats. This experience includes lots of up close and personal time with every animal in the barnyard. Horseback rides are provided by request. 

Join us at our Speakeasy Lounge

Looking for an evening out, without all the hustle and bustle of downtown? Come join us at Canaan Valley at our brand new private 1920s speakeasy. The space also includes an outdoor courtyard with double firepits. Enjoy an assortment of local microbrews, ciders, wine and kombucha in one of Asheville’s most unique spaces. Hours are available upon request, and shuttling is available from Tranquility Acres.

Yoga with Jodi 

Need some stretching after hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains? We’ve got you covered. Our in house yoga teacher Jodi will lead you through a custom private hour session based on your specific needs. Mats are provided. $20 per person with a 4 person minimum.

Want to go from just having spa bathrooms, to an entire spa experience? Our in house spa services range from massages to reflexology, with luxurious add ons such as aromatherapy and hot stones from one of Asheville’s top masseuses.

Private Photoshoot

Capture and take your memories of Canaan Valley with you. Canaan Valley has an in-house professional photographer to capture your weekend memories. We offer private intimate sessions for families and couples.
